Getting started
Start guide
Your first steps in Castdi — sign up, pick a role, and explore the casting operations workspace.
Overview
Castdi is subscription software for casting and production operations. Talent, business, and agency workspaces share one login — switch with View as. This guide walks you through signing up, completing onboarding, and opening the areas you will use every day.
Who this is for
- Talent — build a portfolio, use casting workflow tools, submit proposals, and manage bookings.
- Business — create casting calls, review submissions, send booking requests, and run projects in a workroom.
- Agency — manage a talent roster, browse casting calls, and submit proposals on behalf of represented talent.
Step 1: Create an account
- Go to the marketing homepage and choose Register as talent or Register as business.
- Complete signup.
- You land on Onboarding until required steps are finished.
Agency access is available after you set up an agency workspace from Teams (talent-capable accounts) and switch View as → Agency.
Step 2: Finish onboarding
Complete all onboarding steps: welcome, role confirmation, account details, profile basics, and the short questionnaire. Until onboarding is done, the app redirects you back to complete missing steps.
Step 3: Open your home dashboard
After onboarding, open Home from the sidebar. You will see role-specific metrics, quick actions, and recent activity.
| Role | Quick actions often include |
|---|---|
| Talent | Casting, Portfolio, Proposals |
| Business | My castings, Create casting, Projects |
| Agency | Casting, Roster, Proposals |
